The Brick Township Historical Society
meets the second Tuesdays of September,
November, January, March and June at the
Herbertsville Firehouse, 601 Herbertsville
Road, Brick, New Jersey
Programs are presented at each general meeting, which are
open to the public. Besides the general meetings the Society runs bus
trips, workshops, and participates in local events.
The Society operates the
Havens Homestead
521 Herbertsville Road,
Brick, NJ.
Proceeds from sales and fund raisers are
used to maintain Havens Homestead, which
is open for tours and special events.

history of the area, the original family ownership, and then,
subsequent development into a county park. He will also speak about
Silver Bay, the Revolutionary War and salt works of the area.
