I cannot find any information on the origins / history of either “Lanes Mill” or “Burnt Tavern” roads.  Are they just nice-sounding names, or were they actual places in Brick at some point?

     In the late 1950's, there was a place along the Metedeconk River, on Princeton Avenue, that my family used to go to go swimming for the day.  It was not Windward Beach, we passed Windward Beach to get there.
