The Brick Township Historical Society, in
conjunction with the Garden Club of Brick Township, will host their
annual Garden Tour July 8, 2008 from 10 am to 3 pm. Twelve distinctive
gardens will be featured, plus a "Tea in the Garden" featuring homemade
delectables on the Cultural Arts Center property on Herbertsville
Road. There will also be a plant sale, an art show and a gift raffle at
the same location.
Donation is $15 per person, and tickets can
be purchased in advance at the Jersey Paddler at the intersection of
Routes 88 and 70, Allen Farms at 511 Herbertsville Road, Alan the
Original Florist at 1881 Route 88, and the Robert James Florist and
Garden Center at 2003 Route 88. Tickets are also available at the
Havens Homestead Museum at 521 Herbertsville Road when the museum is
open on Saturdays from 10 am to Noon, and on Sundays from Noon to 2 pm.
When tickets are purchased a map is provided. Tickets can also be
purchased the day of the event at the Cultural Arts Center. The
driveway for the Arts Center is 1 mile west of the intersection of
Herbertsville Road and Route 70 in Brick.
