The museum is open beginning April 12th on Saturdays 10:00 to 12:00pm and Sundays from 12:00 to 2:00.  It is closed on Motherís Day, Fatherís Day and major holiday weekends.

The Brick Township Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas celebration at its Havens Homestead Museum, 521 Herbertsville Rd., Brick on Friday, Dec. 11 from 3 to 7 pm and on Sunday, Dec. 13 from 1 to 4 pm. This yearís theme is Christmas in the Village,Ē and docents will give stories from years ago of the different sections of Brick Township. There will be several moving trains on display, and all three buildings on the property will be open. Homemade refreshments will be served. Guests are encouraged to take pictures with the Victorian Santa who will be dressed in royal blue, as Santas years ago often had different colored outfits, such as, green, violet or blue. Each family will receive a gift of one of the societyís Brick Oven cook books. The Lizzie Herbert Gift Shop will feature special seasonal items. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Donation is $5.00 for an adult and children under 12 are free

Jan. 9, 2016 - The Brick Township Historical Society will sponsor a trip to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia to see the exhibit VATICAN SPLENDORS. This is a multi-sensory exhibit which transports one back to the first century with culture, history and art. Cost is $59 for members and $64 and non-members. This includes transportation, admission and gratuity for the driver. Lunch is on your own at the cafeteria in the Franklin Institute.
